Meet Your Blogger! Questions & Answers with Eryn

We’re 10 posts in already if you’ll believe it, and it’s non-review week, so I thought this was a great chance to get to know me a little better. I’ve always loved a good interview or answering those fun question thingies that go around (have you ever been in an ambulance, how many tattoos do you have, etc), so it seems only natural to do a Q&A.

What’s your most distinguishing feature?
As you can see from the picture, these days it’s probably my hair. For the last 10 months or so it’s been some variety of pink, purple, blue, and/or aqua! I’d always said I would color it again (I used to all the time when I was a teen) and now I do! I love it!

What’s your favorite place you’ve been, and where would you like to visit?
That’s a tough one! I’ve gotten to go a number of amazing places, but if I could only pick one I would probably have to say Rome. The amount of history there that’s just out in the open as a part of everyday life was amazing, and all the street vendors with all kind of food, flowers, and more blew my mine. I wish we had more like it here in the states!

As for somewhere to visit, I think Scotland has been on my list for so long that I would have to say it’s my #1 travel wish at this point! Castles, a lot of my family history, and brogues!

What’s your favorite way to relax?
With a good book soaking in the tub!

Would you ever go skydiving?
Willingly? Unlikely! I hate falling!

Name 3 of your favorite movies:
1) The Princess Bride
2) Practical Magic
3) Beauty and the Beast (both of them!)

What’s your favorite day of the week?
Even though I don’t work a regular 9-5 right now, it’s still Saturday!

What’s usually on your feet?
Nothing if I can help it! I love being barefoot!

What’s a smell you associate with each season?
Spring – Lilacs
Summer – Fresh cut grass
Fall – Dried leaves
Winter – Fir (or spruce) trees

If you won an insane amount of money in the lottery, what would you do with it?
I would buy a bunch of land (or an island!) and build an old-school getaway place. Something like an old tavern/inn or a Viking-style village with a Great Hall and cabins. A place I could live, work, enjoy, and bring people to to have fun.

Would you go to space?
That depends. Are we talking about the first trip SpaceX will make? No thank you. But if it was something well tested and I’d get to see my family again? Absolutely! I grew up as a Trekkie!

If you’re up for it, I’d love to hear your answers to some or all of the questions too! Let’s have some fun and get to know each other! If you have any questions for me, ask and I’ll do my best to answer them too!
